Santorini, officially Thira or Thera, is a Greek island in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km (120 mi) southeast from the mainland. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago formed by the Santorini caldera. It is the southernmost member of the Cyclades group of islands, with an area of approximately 73 km2 (28 mi2) and a 2021 census population of 15,480. The municipality of Santorini includes the inhabited islands of Santorini and Therasia, and the uninhabited islands of Nea Kameni, Palaia Kameni, Aspronisi, Anydros, and Christiana. The total land area is 90 sq km (35 sq mi). Santorini is part of the Thira regional unit.

Admire the picturesque traditional little alleys, the unique aesthetics of Aegean architecture, shop or simply enjoy a drink/snack and the view of the volcano over the cliffs of Caldera.
On your preference, consists of two options:
1) More time in the capital of the island, Fira
2) Optional excursion near the volcano (extra charge approx.€20) It is a 1 ½ hours boat trip near the volcano, not to the volcano itself as well as to the volcanic hot springs by traditional wooden boats. Includes time to capture the view of the volcano and swiming in the hot springs (waters.approx. 20 minutes)
If you prefer the 2nd option (volcanic hot springs) make sure to announce to the crew during the trip from Rethymno to Santorini responsible for announcing and dealing with the ticket orders. You are kindly requested to inform also the local guide upon arrival for first details on-site.
Please note that the duration of our excursions is not fixed, as this depends on a number of factors. In general, we aim to keep them around 8 hours, starting early in the morning, shortly after breakfast time at your accommodation, and aiming to return before dinner time.
We recommend you bring your favourite beachwear and all the necessary beach equipment. Don’t forget to bring sun cream, a hat and sunglasses and to stay well protected and well hydrated in the sun.
Comfortable shoes are recommended but not essential if you plan to walk to the Venetian Castle.
If you are sensitive to boat travel, we recommend that you bring any necessary medication for your comfort.
